How can E&P companies secure private equity funding?

Kosmos Energy a highly successful exploration and production company that gained international recognition after huge successes in the Jubilee field offshore Ghana joined the conference to highlight how they secured private equity funding.

Mr Dunlevy highlighted several major factors for their success and they included:

- Creating a balance of confidence in the management team, business model and asset portfolio

- Kosmos targeted the largest and most respected private equity firms

- Specifically entered into discussions with firm who were looking to increase their exploration and portfolio exposure

- Brought together a credible, success proven and driven executive management team
