Lundin Petroleum are currently working on the new North Sea giant, Johan Sverdrup, along with Statoil. The discovery of Johan Sverdrup in 2011 created a new sense of optimism for North Sea exploration and increased interest in the Norwegian Continental Shelf.

Torstein Sanness, Managing Director, Lundin Petroleum Norway joined the 2012 Oil and Gas North Sea conference and discussed Lundin’s monumental journey in appraising this giant discovery. Torstein highlighted:

1. The reasons behind an increasing number of NCS players in the last decade

2. New companies and their projects in the NCS

3. In depth insights into the Johan Sverdrup appraisal programme.

This list has come from Torstein’s slides at the event. You can download a copy of them here ›
