Shale Gas World Asia 2012 that will run in Singapore from 9-12 July features some of the key E&P leaders to evaluate the resource potential of shale gas for commercial development through investment and technology partnerships.
Mr. Steve Schlotterbeck is the President – E&P of EQT Corp., Appalachia’s largest exploration and production company which owns 3.5 million acres and more than 5.2 trillion cubic feet of total natural gas reserves. Mr. Schlotterbeck will be discussing new methods, techniques and technologies in drilling through innovative and environmentally-friendly drilling methods. He will be joined by regulators from Indonesia, China and India and Shale Gas Operators to discuss:
· Technology-transfer agreements between international oil majors/ service providers and the Asian national oil companies · Proven strategies and technical applications that have worked on global shale projects · Adapting shale gas technology to the geology in the region
