NOC-IOC-OSC relations – How should companies identify the right potential partners; what should they look for in a partner to help guarantee success?

Focusing on operations in Iraq – the Iraqi NOCs have many problems compared to the IOCs and other NOCs in different regions because of a growing gap over the last 30 years.

Iraqi NOCs face some difficulty in the convergence of views with partners with regard to delayed contracts for licensing rounds. Only 16% of total contracts issued have been approved in the last 3 years. NOCs and IOCs must meet to discuss future projects and set goals which all parties are in accordance with.
