Chevron has been one of the major international oil and gas companies with a strong presence in Asia- for example, approximately 25 per cent of their global crude oil production is from their Asia-Pacific facilities. Since 1933, Singapore has been quite important to their operations and today, the Singapore office heads the Downstream fuels businesses and joint ventures in Asia Pacific, Africa, Middle East, Pakistan and Europe.

John is currently Chevron’s General Manager for Joint Ventures and Affiliates, such as SRC, a joint venture between Chevron and Singapore Petroleum Company.
