#Statoil third quarter results increase by 39%
Third quarter results from Statoil showed a 39% rise in operating income to NOK 39.3 billion (US $7.171 bn) from NOK 28.2 bn last year. Reported Offshore 247
Benefiting from a 30% rise in liquids prices compared with last year, Statoil also reported a 13% rise in gas prices which also lifted the group’s income.
Statoil’s third quarter net income was NOK 9.9 bn compared to NOK 13.8 bn last year. The decrease stems primarily from a lower level of gains on net financial items and higher tax rates. Full article available here
