Panel discussion on the geological potential and recoverability of shale gas in Europe #shalegasworld

A panel discussion will take place at Shale Gas World Europe 2011, on the topic of determining the geological potential and recoverability of shale gas in Europe.  Issues discussed will include understanding the latest evaluations of various basins, how good the subsurface geology is compared to the US and determining depth and thickness of shales.

The panel will include Isabelle Moretti, Project Leader, Unconventional Gas Research, IFP Energies Nouvelles, Luca Demicheli, Secretary General, EuroGeoSurveys, Frank van Bergen, Project Leader, Business Unit of Geometry, TNO and Pawel Poprawa, Chief Specialist & Head of the Petroleum Geology Laboratory, Polish Geological Institute.
