A panel will be on hand to discuss the challenge of redeveloping fields in the Former Soviet Union. 

Topics to be discussed include:
• Tackling the well integrity challenges of reopening older soviet wells
• Developing reservoirs previously deemed un-commercial with the latest technology
• Re-imaging old 2D surveys to avoid the need for new seismic
• Addressing the commercial and political challenges of structuring and managing joint ventures

The panel will include Jonathan Popper, Energy Industry Negotiator, Senior Associate, The Energy Contract Company and former BP Special Advisor Russia and Central Asia and Alexi Bykov, Former Strategy and Portfolio Director BU and Nyagan Upstream, TNK-BP.

 

These industry professionals will be joining 30+ speakers at the E&P Leaders Summit Europe 2011. The conference will take place on 26-28 September 2011 in London, UK.
