Top three vaccine infographics and what they tell us
Vaccines have been a topic of debate for quite some time. Below, we will look at three infographics and what they tell us about the vaccine industry.
This infographic, designed by Hyperakt for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, reveals that while vaccines save lives, they are also saving us money. And lots of it. According to the infograph, with just three vaccines–HIB, Pneumococcal and Rotavirus–delivered to the 73 poorest countries in the world, we could be saving roughly $63 billion over the next decade. Impressive.

While parents of children born in western countries are more and more frequently refusing vaccinations for their children, those in poor, less developed countries are begging out for vaccines. What gives?

How many children die from preventable diseases each year because they don’t have access to live-saving vaccines? How much would the average cost of that vaccine be?
