Robert Pardo, President of Pardo Capital Limited, is an early pioneer of algorithmic trading in the futures industry, oversees PCL and is its primary strategist. He was instrumental in laying the initial foundations of what have become industry-wide algorithmic software applications, advancing how systematic trading is done today.
Jeffrey Birnbuam, CEO & Founder of 60East Technologies, is a seasoned executive and software developer with over 25 years of experience. Named one of the top 10 CIOs on Wall Street by Securities Technology Monitor, Jeffrey has worked at the largest Wall Street firms in the world, where he created compute and application programming infrastructures used to build high-performance, real-time electronic trading and risk systems.
Tony Pettipiece, Director of Cape City Command, is a versatile senior business manager with expertise in the development and deployment of global automated,electronic trading systems. He has a successful history leading innovative business and technology growth in the US and globally, from start-ups to proprietary trading. Tony also has a deep understanding of all aspects of trading business processes, technology and regulatory environment in the US, Europe, APAC and Latin America.
Sandeep Tyagi is the Founder and Managing Partner of Estee, a quantitative and algorithm-based capital markets firm, based out of New Jersey and Gurgaon. Estee runs a brokerage and investment management business focused on India. Mr. Tyagi is responsible for setting direction of the firm, developing invocative trading and investment strategies and sustaining a winning culture.
Gil Tene (Twitter: @giltene) is CTO and co-founder of Azul Systems. He has been involved with virtual machine technologies for the past 20 years and has been building Java technology-based products since 1995. Gil pioneered Azul’s Continuously Concurrent Compacting Collector (C4), Java Virtualization, Elastic Memory, and various managed runtime and systems stack technologies that combine to deliver the industry’s most scalable and robust Java platforms. Gil also represents Azul Systems on the JCP (Java Community Process) executive committee.
