NAG on "The Cure for the Common Code" at The Trading Show Chicago Jeremy Walton, Ph.D. presented on the value NAG’s numerical library of approximately 1,700 numerical routines can offer to financial market practitioners.

Accessible in many different programming languages and development environments, these routines assist quants with optimizing, forecasting, simulating, and conceptual sanity checks so they can focus less time on coding and more time on research.

Walton mentioned NAG is continuously developing new routines, including 116 routines recently released and additional routines for GPU processing allowing speed-ups from 100-250x. Given this offering, Dr. Walton mentioned that NAG can assist market practitioners and researchers with a cure for the common code.
