Video: Tradeworx’s Manoj Narang talk to CNN about #HFT

I came across this interesting clip in which CNN speaks with Manoj Narang, CEO of Tradeworx, about high frequency trading.

Manoj answers some interesting questions, including questions about last year’s Flash Crash. Manoj states that high frequency traders buy as many shares as they sell, so cannot impact the price of stocks, and argues that whilst technology played a role in the Flash Crash, technology is not the same thing as HFT, so HFT cannot be held to blame.
