HFT World taking Chicago by storm

High frequency trading has run away with momentum, consistently being a hot topic among the finance world and causing people to ask what is it, how does it affect me, and what do I do? 

Well, we at Terrapinn have been here to help you grapple with these and other questions at our HFT World events.  We kicked things off in London and Singapore and then launched a very successful version in NY.  Over 150 people, approximately 40 HFT users alone, came out and discussed the latest market trends, consequences of impending regulation, and where HFT is catapulting the world of trading. 

However, even though NY is arguably the center of the world’s finance, it isn’t the epicenter of HFT.  That, my friends, is none other than Chicago.

Chicago, Chicago, that’s my kind of town…alright enough with the singing.  But really, the center of tech and strategy innovation is in the prop shops, and Chicago is the capital of proprietary trading.

That’s why we’ll be launching HFT World Chicago 2011! Taking place June 27-29, this is the HFT event you cannot miss! And this time round we are doing things with an added twist: we will be “co-locating” this event with Quant Invest Chicago 2011.  This will allow for even deeper and wider content coverage, looking not just at the low latency side of quantitative trading and investment.
