Comparison shopping from your mobile devices

Checking prices from your smart phones may be the next be hurdle for Australian retailers. The Yorkshire Post today says that the “BRC said mobile and tablet search volumes rose by 113 per cent over the past three months”

However figures released in the same report suggest that retailers can benefit from this comparison shopping by targeting compulsion shoppers. Searches from tablets are responsible for 40 per cent of all retail searches from mobile devices in the UK- a very substantial figure.
