CIMB Trust Capital Buys 150 Charlotte Street For AUD 56 million

Brisbane

CIMB Trust Capital Advisors (CIMB-TCA), a joint-venture between Malaysia-based CIMB Real Estate Sdn Bhd and Singapore-based TrustCapital Advisors Pte Ltd, has announced the purchase of 150 Charlotte Street from Stockland Trust for AUD 56 million.

The property will be injected into the CIMB TrustCapital Australian Office Fund No 1 (CIMB-TCA AOF1), a unique Asian-based fund established to invest in high-grade commercial buildings in key Australian cities.

Located in the Brisbane CBD, 150 Charlotte Street is an 18-storey prime office building that has recently been fully refurbished to PCAA-Grade standard. It has also been upgraded into a highly energy-efficient building that targets a 4.5-star National Australian Built Environment Rating System (NABERS) and a 5-star Green Star as-built rating.

The property represents the fourth acquisition by CIMB-TCA AOF1 since the fund’s entry into the Australian market early last year. It also owns 469 LaTrobe Street and 850 Collins Street in Melbourne and 50 Marcus Clarke Street in Canberra.
