Mr Joseph Christian, then Foreign Legal Consultant for DLA Piper, led a Masterclass on the legal and tax ramifications for foreign investments in China at the Retirement Communities World Asia 2011 conference.
The presentation covered topics like China’s legal system, real estate taxes and restrictions on foreign investment. It also discusses the operation and regulation of senior housing as well as employment law and protection of intellectual property.
