George Kostas oversees all business activities in Australia and New Zealand, and is charged with growing the company’s position in Asia. George has a wealth of knowledge and experience in corporate and project finance and residential and major urban project development, most recently being responsible for the structuring and execution of the $700 million recapitalisation and workout of the Hilton Hotel and Residences, Surfers Paradise. George currently sits on the board of the Property Council of Australia and is the Deputy Chairman of Urban Taskforce Australia.
Lauren Haas has worked in the property industry globally for over 10 years. Lauren is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), commencing her career with Ernst & Young LLP and then working as a Financial Analyst for a public REIT in San Francisco.
As Sustainability Manager for Brookfield Multiplex Australasian businesses, Lauren is responsible for managing the implementation of sustainability across all the Brookfield Multiplex Australasian businesses, including construction and development, engineering, infrastructure and infrastructure services, empowering and engaging the business, key stakeholders, clients and government in demonstrating the value proposition of sustainable property development, management and investment in terms that make business sense. Lauren’s role includes translating the real economic, social and environmental value of high performance building to boards, executives, clients and peers.
