TPT: The appointment of female executives

Transnet Port Terminals is proud to announce the appointment of two female executives, Nombuso Afolayan, General Manager: Commercial and Planning and Ntombeziningi Shezi, General Manager: Supply Chain Management.

Ms Afolayan has ranging experience in the logistics and the commercial field.  Her academic achievements include an MBA- Finance, International Oil Supply and Trading from Oxford University and a qualification from the Institute of Charted Ship Brokers. Her previous roles comprise of Commercial and Business Development Executive at Vopak SA and General Manager at Grindrod.

Ms Shezi has broad experience in the procurement field and comes to TPT with vast knowledge gained from numerous organisations. She studied a Bachelor of Arts Degree and a Post Graduate Diploma, Purchasing and Materials Management both from the University of Cape Town. Ms Shezi is a member of the Chartered Institute of Supply Chain Management and has held Procurement Manager positions at Nampak, PRASA and Hewlett Packard.

The Executives are no strangers to Transnet as they have previously held positions at Transnet in their respective fields.
