What will Intelligent Transport really do?

So, we’ve heard that budget is being allocated to intelligent transport solutions, people have started talking about it and it is definitely becoming a reality.

Although are we really sure what it is and what it can do?

I thought it would be easiest to split this into two parts: the top five applications and the top five results that ITS can deliver.
