Challenges & opportunities for the Middle East Rail network
Peter Haaks from Deutsche Bahn International attended the Middle East Rail 2012 conference to give an overview of the challenges and opportunities for operating the planned Middle East Rail network. He delivered the keynote presentation that included:
- Reviewing operation and maintenance plans of projects nearing implementation stage
- Effectively using commercial acumen to create a robust maintenance plan
- Examining the needs of long distance passenger and freight services
