10 high-tech spy gadgets that could potentially thwart your personal security!
I recently came across Network World’s compilation of 10 gadgets that spies use to capture voice and data. The slideshow article is linked to a more realistic security scenario relating to RFID chips in U.S. passports which has been a controversial topic widely discussed in the field.
It goes to show that there is a clear and dire need for safe, secure and flexible solutions to protect an individual’s assets and privacy. Clearly, the convergence of security for physical and logical access control through the use of smartcards and embedded biometric technology is a major market driver. Industry experts foresee that technology convergence will be the standard in many organizations for secure identity/ credential management.
One such application is India’s recent announcement of their Unique Identification Numbers (UID) project that incorporates identification and authentication solutions. I would like to congratulate Cross Match Technologies on being recognized as the 1st certified supplier of biometric devices!
Cross Match Technologies have been an annual exhibitor at Cards Asia who has embraced our new brand – Digital ID World Asia. So, come 13-15 April 2011, visit them at Digital ID World Asia Exhibition, Booth 4L16!
