Australia’s #CommonwealthBank expects increase in commodities trade opportunities with Indonesia
General Manager of Commonwealth Bank, Stephen Holden had stated at a conference that “Australia expects to increase their partnership with Indonesia in the upcoming years, especially in commodity trade.”
Currently, #Indonesia is Australia’s 12th largest trading partner and Australia’s top-three export commodities to Indonesia were iron ore and concentrates, coal, and education with total value of A$110.1 billion.
With the global demand of commodities expected to hold steady despite the market uncertainties, this figure looks set to increase.
Commonwealth Bank is certainly banking on the country’s potential, with its plans to issue medium term notes (MTN) worth Rp500 billion, to help increase their revenue.
Commonwealth Bank is a silver sponsor at the #AsiaMiningCongress 2012 in Singapore.
