Event Managing for The MBA Training Company

As you may have read previously, The MBA Training Company are holding a round table discussion in Johannesburg so that businesses can discuss the training and development requirements of their team with both each other, our high profile chairs and at least one representative from The MBA Training Company. These discussions will not be limited to Johannesburg, as we are shortly to hold some in London, Poland and Dubai.

Being the Experience Manager for The MBA Training Company means that as part of organising each event,  I am in charge of researching venues for these events. We are trying to keep venues interesting but also well located with high quality facilities. For Johannesburg I considered such venues as the historically fascinating Liliesleaf Farm and Heritage Site which doubles up as conference and meeting space and Le Châtelat, a boutique guest house with some great facilities and beautiful decor. We settled on the Radisson Blu Hotel, Sandton due to its perfectly central location and excellent range of business facilities.

Next up we will be looking to secure a venue for our London event, and venues so far visited and up for consideration include the HMS Belfast, Shakespeare’s Globe, and function rooms located within such impressive hotels as The Savoy and Hyatt Regency.

It is difficult but also exciting selecting between such different but all equally striking venues. When we secure a date and a venue, we will be sure to let you know the details so that you can put it in your diary.
