To learn is to live
Our openness and willingness to learn and grow in wisdom, is at the heart of our professional and personal wellbeing. The opportunities to acquire new knowledge, apply new skills and realize our potential, are infinite. Learning is what life is about.
To maintain your life long learning journey, explore some of these ideas with an open mind and a willingness to learn;
- Find your passion – what is it that interests you? Be curious, read about the subject, talk about it and write about it.
-
Read. Remain current about world matters. Subscribe to a range of newspapers, magazines and read them. Broaden your sources of knowledge. You never know what ideas you may uncover.
- Exercise your brain and learn something new – something completely different. Learn to play a musical instrument, a new language, to juggle, to surf, or what ever grabs your fancy.
- Seek a new challenge at work – stretch yourself. Take on something that will stretch your capabilities.
- The only way to learn is to teach – volunteer to share your knowledge with others be it at work or in the broader community. It’s only by sharing your knowledge and experience that you grow in knowledge and experience.
- Volunteer your time to a cause you believe in – share your compassion and wisdom with others less privileged than yourself.
- Enrol on a short course and develop your knowledge and skills. Invest some time, effort in developing yourself – you are your most valuable asset. This may help you find a solution – MBA Training Company
There is only one thing more painful than learning from experience, and that is not learning from experience.
