South Africa needs more energy options
South Africa needs more energy options in order to overcome the lack of energy supply, to rural households in particular.
The article published on Fin24.com on the 10th July 2012 elaborates on this and states that Energy Minister Dipuo Peters said that “South Africa is at a critical point where any means to increase energy supply should be explored.”
Amongst those options are fracking and nuclear power provided that safety measures can be enhanced.
According to the article Peters says “South Africa needs to prepare itself to be the preferred place to invest in Africa, by ensuring an effective and streamlined environment conducive for investment”.”
