Sean Moore, CEO at Protean spoke on Cost Effective Renewable Energy with Protean at Clean Technology World Asia 2011.

Sean Moore is the founder and inventor of the Protean™ wave energy converter technology and has over 60 international patent applications on ocean energy technologies. He is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Protean Energy Limited and an engineer and scientist researching ocean sustainability, water and power issues since 2004.

Mr. Moore has been the recipient of many awards and scholarships and is recognized for his expertise in ocean energy. He was a panelist on the highly popular Ocean Energy Panel at the inaugural 2009 Asia Pacific Clean Energy Summit in Hawaii as well as a panelist at the 2011 VerdeXchange.

The Proteanâ„¢ technology was developed by Mr. Moore as a means to provide cost effective energy and water to local, regional and national consumers; while maintaining an uncompromising commitment to minimizing environmental impact. The Proteanâ„¢ technology is owned and developed by Protean Energy Limited; an Australian firm specializing in ocean sustainable energy technology. The Proteanâ„¢ is an open architecture energy conversion platform system suitable for the integration of multiple modalities such as wave energy conversion and distributed seawater desalination.
