#Wind powers Queensland’s future

Wind, Queensland, Renewable energy

Five major wind farm projects planned in Queensland could increase the state’s wind-generated energy 100-fold, says a recent article in the SMH.

The largest of these five projects is Windlab’s Kennedy Windfarm Project, 750MW costing $1.5bn.

AGL Energy Ltd also has two wind farms planned, Crows Nest and the Coopers Gap Wind Farm.

If you’d like to hear Richard Mackie, General Manager for Australia and South Africa at Windlab, speak on plans for the construction of the Kennedy Windfarm Project, as well as Nigel Bean, Head of Generation Development at AGL Energy Ltd, speaking on opportunities for new generation assets in Queensland, then don’t miss the 15th Annual Queensland Power and Gas conference.  Download a brochure here.

If you’d like to hear Scott Taylor, GGM Australia for Infigen Energy, speak about how to determine the business case for investment into new renewable generation assets then don’t miss GenTech Australia, Australasia’s premier generation efficiency and investment conference.  Download a brochure here for more information.
