lendwithcare, ethical investing, deborah meaden is a movement set up by the aid organisation Care International UK, which promotes the lending of money to entrepreneurs in third world countries.

Individuals lend money to a particular entrepreneur and receive updates on their progress. The money is paid back in instalments and can then be reinvested in another entrepreneur.

Deborah Meaden recently went out to Cambodia to see the scheme in action, The Guardian quoted her saying: “Becoming a lender is rewarding and fascinating, so a voucher – giving the recipient the chance to also experience this – is an inspired idea for a gift this Christmas.”
