United Phosphorus Limited acquires Agrichem

United Phosphorus Limited (UPL) recently announced that they have acquired 100% of Dutch company, Agrichem, along with all its tangible and intangible assets. Based in Netherlands, Agrichem is engaged in the production, marketing and selling of crop protection products in the European agrochemicals market. Their products include herbicides, insecticides and fungicides.

With the acquisition, UPL is expected to gain enhanced access into the European countries.

UPL is the largest Indian agrochemical company involved in research, manufacturing, marketing, sales and distribution of agrochemicals and specialty chemicals across the globe. Read the full press release here.
