Global #Commodity ETPs hit the highest quarter-end level on record
According to ETF Securities’ latest edition of Global Commodity ETP quarterly, Commodity Exchange Traded Products hit the highest quarter-end level on record in Q1 of 2012. It is thought to be a combined result of a rebound in US economic growth and the restructuring of Greek sovereign debt.
Interestingly it wasn’t just in the traditionally popular precious-metals ETPs that saw increased investments either. The likes of copper, tin, oil, platinum, palladium, silver and broad diversified ETPs also saw substantial rises.
