A bear who sees a bright side, too

Asset Allocation, bullish, bearish, GMOPosted on the last day of December from the The Boston Globe, an article from Beth Healy – A bear who sees the bright side gives some out of character predictions from GMO’s Ben Inker, who works alongside “notorious pessimist” Jeremy Grantham. Inker gives his semi-bullish predictions (still mostly bearish though) on equities for 2012, despite the dread from many investors.

Inker mentions that there is still money to be made in equities, and that investors don’t have to wait for prices to go freakishly cheap before buying. Bonds is although tempting, is only going to block an investor from some good returns that can be made. We just need to look in the right places.
