Keynote address

For this year´s keynote address, Mr. Eduardo Loyo spoke to us with an auspicious message relating to the topic of ¨the next chapter of the Brazil story¨. A combination of macroeconomic stability and focused development of capital markets has allowed Latin America´s largest economy to fare relatively well during the worldwide financial crisis. Not only has Brazil surfed through this wave of worldwide economic malaise but it has been left with no real legacy effect, more or less snapping back into the shape that it had been in prior to the onset of the crisis. Brazil is already witnessing the same bottom line in terms of fiscal results and is expecting an inflow of further foreign investment as ROW continues to recover.
