“Social Media is AWESOME but I don’t know how awesome!" :)
Deloitte and the MIT Sloan Management Review recently polled 3748 executives from around the world about their thoughts on social media for marketing.
Around 80% stated social media had a key role to play in building customer relationships, that it could foster innovation, help hire the best of talent and helped generate revenue from their customers.
What’s interesting here is that the majority of respondents stated do not try to measure results, with only 18% of respondents feeling that social software was extremely important to their company currently. Only 9% currently incorporated social media data into their corporate practices and systems in a big way.
Most people seem to see the need for Social Media in their marketing campaigns – but fail to understand how it’s actually affecting their end result.
There are a bunch of brilliant products that do just that in the market today. Find out what these are.
