Is Samsung set to beat Apple?

With the release of The new Samsung Galaxy SIII last week, many people have been debating over the battle between Apple and Samsung, in particular voice recognition. With the recent malfunctions of Apples Siri, naming the Nokia Lumina 900 as the best phone when asked “which is the best smartphone”, and other issues with Siri struggling to recognise different accent, it seems Samsung may have the edge here.

Samsung recently has replaced Nokia as the worlds biggest mobile phone maker with 86.6 million units sold. Nokia sold 83.2 million, and Apple sold 33.1 million, giving Samsung a 20.7 share of the market.

So how is Samsung predicted to beat apple? The key words are ‘Customer and Brand Loyalty’. This is the area in which Apple dominates, and other makers such as HTC and Motorola failed in. Samsung S111 is aiming to sell to existing customers of the Galaxy S and SII which have sold approximately 40million units.

Apple is expected to launch its latest version of the iPhone in October.
