Justus Hammer as CMO and Co-founder of Spreets will tell you all insights about Group Buying. According to Yahoo Justus found a market-leader in what is becoming a highly competitive and fast growing market in Australia. The Group Buying model has rapidly evolved over the past year delivering cost-effective marketing to small businesses and addressing an unmet and growing demand from consumers for online coupon deals. The acquisition by Yahoo!7 in January is supposed to bring even more success for Spreets as one of Australia’s leading online media companies.

Justus enjoys the entrepreneurial spirit declining a job offer with Google in order to found Spreets together with Dean McEvoy in early 2010. Prior to Spreets he held the role of Marketing Manager for Getprice which is now Australia’s leading price comparison website and recently was acquired by News Digital Media. Justus came to Australia from Germany in 2007 to complete his Master of Commerce in IT at Macquarie University in Sydney. Before coming to Australia Justus was the Marketing Manager for GoYellow in Munich, Germany’s biggest online yellow pages company.

Justus will explain the new concept of Group Buying and why it’s already old in his seminar session the 5th of May: 11.25 am.
