I went to Newcastle University in the UK and graduated with a first class BA Honours degree in Politics.

I am a Conference Manager in our Dubai office. My job involves researching, writing and acquiring speakers for the conference programme. I also brief the Sponsorship and Delegate Sales team on the key drivers for the event, help organize and manage the awards ceremony, write copy for the event and then run the event onsite!

I have always been told that the quality of the programme you produce is reflected in the number of delegates that pay to attend. One of my greatest achievements since being at Terrapinn is producing the 2010 Telecoms World Middle East event. With 120 speakers, 25 sponsors and an expected crowd of 400+, it is set to be the biggest Telecoms World Middle East event yet.

I really enjoy how challenging and dynamic the conference production role is. After months of creating, marketing and selling the event, I find it so rewarding to see the event run successfully onsite. It is also great to be able to speak and meet with those who are leading new markets in the Middle East and elsewhere in the world.
