Case Study: Great Lakes & Radixx Support the United Transition
Did you know how Great Lakes & Radixx Supported the United Transition?
When airlines make a decision to implement changes, they need to find the technology to support their decision. Radixx International, our exhibitor at the World Low Cost Airlines Congress 2012, has first-hand experience in helping airlines go through these changes.
When Great Lakes Airlines, which operated for 10 years under the United brand, decided to re-brand as a regional operator, Radixx provided it with the system that harnesses the power of direct internet distribution. As a result, the airline has been profitable ever since. Radixx has been instrumental in Great Lakes becoming a profitable airline.
In 2010, when United Airlines and Continental Airlines announced that they were to merge, Radixx was at hand to help too. The project was not only concerned with the switch of United from one system to the other, but it also included the deployment of several new facilities that gave Great Lakes and United much more sophisticated level of connectivity than before. It was one of the biggest commercial IT projects in history.
