How to network with the airline community on Linkedin

You’re probably already on Linkedin, but are you making the most of the networking opportunities? Here are some ways you can use Linkedin to network.

1. Join a conversation

In the search box to the top right of the screen, click down to the ‘answers’ tab. You’ll then be able to search questions on air and business travel and give appropriate answers. Current questions include ones about the general structure of an ANSP, route development and a lighter thread about serendipity stories.

2. Join a group

Groups are a great way to chat about what’s happening in the industry. Some of the most popular include Airlines Industry Professionals Worldwide, Aviation Network, and of course, the group run by yours truly….Blue Sky Blog

3. Introduce yourself to your peers

Many of the groups welcome members with an ‘Introduce yourself here’ thread. It’s a friendly way to find out more about the other group members and see who you want to connect with.
