Virgin’s punctuality a punch to competitors
Australia’s second largest carrier is improving on its on time flights by boosting its on time performance by 5 points in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne airports last year.
Despite the fact that it has only 9 gates instead of #Qantas’ 16 with the same number of departures, #Virgin is still doing an average turnaround time of 35 minutes – meaning its more efficient than its red coloured counterpart.
Sean Donohue, Group Executive of Operations says that they are going from 9 to 14 gates by the end of the year.
This means the company is looking and constantly driving for expansion in Australia and it’s only a matter of time before we see huge growth in the Airline.
