Sean Donohue to talk about #Virgin’s transformation!

We’re delighted to announce that Sean Donohue will be taking the reigns of one of our keynote sessions at Aviation Outlook Australia Pacific 2012. Mr Donohue joins us as the Chief Operations Officer from Virgin Australia who brings a wealth of knowledge around the past, present and future of the aviation industry.

Sean oversees the Virgin Australia Airlines’ Operations division encompassing Engineering Operations, Ground Operations, Flight Operations, Cabin Crew Operations, Group Flight Standards, Operations Planning, Catering Services, and Safety Systems. 

 

He is also responsible for the new Regional ATR Aircraft Operations, Corporate Facilities, Property and Group Sustainability.  In addition, Sean is responsible for the operations of Virgin Australia NZ, the Group’s New Zealand carrier.

 

Sean  brings more than 25 years of airline and operational experience to the role. Sean has held many senior roles at United Airlines including Senior Vice President Global Operations; Vice President, United Express, “Ted” and World-wide Operational Performance; Vice President North American Sales; and Managing Director New York.  His immediate last role was Chief Executive Officer, Designate, for a global private group bidding on the privatisation of Midway Airport in Chicago.
