#Southwest business class fliers can earn more rewards points
Southwest Airlines has launched a promotion that lets business class fliers rack up more frequent flier points through April and May.
Rapid Rewards members who buy Business Select fares can earn 4,000 bonus points for each round-trip Business Select fare, or 2,000 points for each one-way. That’s in addition to the Rapid Rewards points they already receive for the fare.
To qualify, travelers much register here by May 29. Travel also must be completed by May 29. Points will be awarded four days after completion of travel on the entire ticket.
Travelers on Business Select fares get priority boarding, access to speedier ticket counter and security checkpoint lines, and a complimentary premium drink coupon for the day of travel. The fare is fully refundable and allows for same-day changes at no additional cost. But according to the fine print, ‘Changes made to the itinerary after purchase may eliminate qualification for this promotion.’
