GOL Linhas Aéreas Inteligentes, the largest low-cost and low-fare airline in Latin America, announced this week their results for the fourth quarter of 2011 (4Q11).
GOL’s 4Q11 highlights:
- The Company concluded the acquisition of 100% of Webjet’s capital
- GOL announced a long-term strategic partnership with the American Delta Air Lines
- GOL’s consolidated net revenue totaled R$2.2bn in 4Q11, 19.5% up on the R$1.9bn reported in 4Q10
- Consolidated ancillary revenues came to R$235.5mm, 36.9% more than the R$172.0mm reported in 4Q10
- Webjet transported around 5.0 million passengers in 2011, reaching the significant mark of 15 million passengers carried since 2005
